Hey there!

Hey there, my vibey humans! 🎈 Have you ever walked into an event, saw a bunch of balloons, and just instantly felt happier? Like, I know I’m about to take a picture over there. That’s exactly the energy Shelby, the genius behind The Balloon Zone, wanted to capture with her new brand and website! I mean, who doesn’t want their business to be synonymous with FUN? As the designer, I was grateful for the opportunity.

When Shelby approached me, she had a vision: take the passion for her business (and all the joy they bring) and turn it into a brand that’s as bold, bright, and cheerful as a party on steroids. So, naturally, we kicked things off with a full branding package, and then—because we were having so much fun—we dove headfirst into building her brand new website.

Branding The Zone

Despite a brand culture of mute neutral aesthetics, Shelby’s brand needed to feel like a celebration. We’re talking colors that pop (pun intended), fonts that scream “LOUD,” and visuals that instantly draw you in. Together, we crafted a brand identity infused with all of those things, while also being polished enough to represent Shelby’s professionalism in balloon design and event decor.

So, what did that look like in action?

  • Colors: Think neon brights meet soft pastels. It’s like confetti in color form. 🎨
  • Fonts: Playful but not childish. We chose a bold, balloon-rounded font for her primary logo, and headers that you basically just can’t avoid, but then paired it with a clean, modern sans-serif for the body to keep it easy to read.
  • Visuals: Balloons galore, obviously! But we also wanted to show off the feeling of balloons—whether it’s joy, celebration, or even a little bit of whimsy. Every visual element works together to put you in the party spirit.

Enter Showit (a.k.a. the Website Fairy Godmother)

Now, here’s the part where we take all that visual magic and put it online. Shelby wanted her site to be a living, breathing extension of her brand—a place where potential clients could not only see her work but feel the same excitement balloons bring to their events and offer them a place to explore their installment options.

That’s where Showit came in to save the day! And I say that quite literally. We began building out her website on a different platform and let’s just say… creative nightmare.

Showit on the other hand, is basically the Adobe of website builders, and that’s enough to make any designer happy. It gave us full creative control (thank you, drag-and-drop) to design something that was totally customized for The Balloon Zone. Every page reflects the bold and happy vibes Shelby is known for, and the platform makes it super easy for her to update things as she continues to grow.

Bonus: It’s also built with mobile in mind, so her website looks just as awesome on your phone as it does on desktop (because let’s face it, most of us are scrolling while multitasking with 47 other tabs open).

Flodesk: The Secret Sauce for Balloon Lovers Everywhere

Shelby’s not just blowing up balloons (pun intended, again)—she’s blowing up her email list too. With Flodesk, we integrated a super bubbly, on-brand email signup that makes it easy for visitors to stay in touch. I mean, who doesn’t want emails offering discounts on their next balloon installations? Your next party thanks you in advance. Flodesk is not only equipped with beautiful email formats, but it’s also user-friendly. Shelby’s now got a killer email marketing tool that lets her send colorful updates to her fans with zero tech-stress.

The Final Balloon Pop!

Now, Shelby’s website isn’t just a digital business card—it’s a. whole dang experience. From the playful animations to the pops of color on every page, it’s like stepping into a modern Wonka factory or something. Her clients can easily browse her services, get inspired by her portfolio, and even book her for their next event—all while soaking up the happy vibes that make The Balloon Zone so special.

So if you’re in the mood to bring some helium-powered joy to your next event, definitely check out Shelby’s new website at The Balloon Zone. And if you’re thinking about starting your own fun and bold branding journey, well… you know where to find me. 😉

Stay bright, stay bold, and remember—life’s too short for boring branding! 🎈
